The Kiltie Marching Band has been invited to travel and march in the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, in Washington D.C. Please support our students as they practice and prepare to march down Constitution Avenue.

Student and Parent Programs
Students and families take an active role to support the Kiltie Band. Through fundraising events and programs, student learn life skills to support their musical journey. These fundraising programs allow students to raise money, which offsets the individual costs. The programs also benefit all band members, and covers the costs related to music lessons, instruments, uniforms and performances.

Publix and The Kiltie Students
With the cooperation of Publix, the Kilties have reserved “fundraising” dates at local stores. During these events, students are able to participate directly and solicite donations from shoppers. The sign-up process is simple and students are about to reserve 2-hour windows to raise funds. The funds raised at these events directly benefit the students that particiapte. Parents are also asked to volunteer and chaperone the students in 2-hour blocks.

The Giving Challenge (April 15-16, 2026)
The Kilties are excite to participate in the 2026 Giving Challenge. This event is an exciting 24-hour online giving event that connects about 700 nonprofit organizations with passionate donors and community members to support diverse causes and create enduring impact in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
All Kiltie families are encouraged to promote this event and seek donations for their student and the band.
